“Calm, kindness, smiles, music — it was perfect! The ideal location right in the middle of La Candelaria, the kindness of the staff, the atmosphere.”
“Fantastic hostel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Also great location, highly recommend!”
“It was a chill social, not loud party energy. The staff was awesome, they went above and beyond to help me out with some trouble I had. It was so comforting having that type of support. I will definitely stay here again.”
“Amazing hostel, with really helpful and engaging staff, very clean, good internet to work in many places. The ambience is really cool, with white and blue colours, and a beautiful indigenous inspired mural in the co-working space.”
The house
Granada Hostel sits right in the middle of Bogotá’s historic centre, in a 1930s republican house. Recently restored, it keeps every original feature from the early XX century while offering an extra-comfortable stay: newly fitted bathrooms, elite range mattresses and relaxing showers on a refurbished high-pressure system, with hot water 24/7 — rare in the historic centre.
Between two walks through the old town you can mingle at the patio bar, read a book in a hammock or drop into the hammock floor net. The house is full of social areas, so meeting people is the easy part.
Every room is unique in size and style, following the original layout of the house. Water heating, lighting and ventilation are all ecofriendly, in line with our core values.
